Preparations take several weeks. If people are geographically available, several meetings of participants could occur. If people are geographically scattered, we prepare over several weeks by phone and email, and then come together for one weekend; e.g. an initial meeting Friday evening, final planning and rehearsal Saturday, and then the intervention Sunday.
It is possible to compress events if necessary into two days, assuming that preparations have proceeded beforehand.
